In the collaboration between Soza, Sotsu, and AsatuDK, the biggest pop culture and anime festival in Bangkok “C3 AFA Bangkok 2017” was held on June 10 – 11, 2017. Many anime-related stuffs were exhibited and for sales such as video games, manga comics, light novels, music, celebrities, and so much more, which came directly from Japan.
Yokohama has signed contract with Pokemon Company to do collaboration event every year until 2020 to attract more inbound and outbound tourists to visit Yokohama during Tokyo 2020 Olympics. It has been 3 years consecutively that Yokohama has held events which involved the famous Pokemon character Pikachu by bringing tons on Pikachu mascot to the venue. For this year as the 4th year, they are planning to bring more than 1,500 Pikachu mascots with many other Pokemon friends, to boost up the event even more.
