The Netflix anime series “Brown & Friends”, which was planned to commemorate the 10th anniversary of “LINE FRIENDS”, is now available.
The Characters “LINE FRIENDS” were born from the “LINE” chat app. Since 2016, when the IP business was fully developed, the cumulative character IP transaction volume has reached more than 300 billion yen, and it has been widely loved mainly in Asia.
The animation “Brown & Friends” planned by LINE FRIENDS to commemorate the 10th anniversary in 2021 will be exclusively distributed on Netflix. New life is breathed into the characters through high-quality 3D animation, making for a fun and unpredictable storyline that everyone can enjoy.
Eleven characters including Brown, Connie, Sally, and Choco will appear as the main characters, and the dreams, love, and friendship of Brown and his friends, who are full of individuality and charm, are depicted against the background of everyday life in the city. In particular, the behind-the-scenes story of Brown and Connie’s friendship, the slapstick story of Sally who dreams of becoming a great wizard, her existence that the director kept secret, and the day of James who terrified his friends, are unprecedented.
LINE FRIENDS will continue to expand its original character and mini character business, and plans to develop a wide range of characters that are loved not only in Asia but all over the world, regardless of age, gender, or nationality.
