The Pokemon Company announced a brand-new Pikachu Jet as part of its partnership with T’Way Air, an airline from South Korea.
The Pikachu Jet TW is an airplane wrapped in a special vinyl sticker featuring Pikachu, Charmander, Jigglypuff, Arcanine and Meloetta. In addition, the plane also offers Pokemon-themed in-flight experiences from its music, decorations and amenities to truly make you feel like traveling together with Pokemon.
The airplane will mainly operate in the Asia region, including Korean domestic flights.
A launch ceremony was held for the airplane at Gimpo International Airport, Seoul, South Korea. The ceremony had the plane have its inaugural flight from Gimpo International Airport and safely landed at Taipei Songshan Airport.
They have also announced line-ups of original merchandise featuring the special airplane will be available for sale starting from January 1st, 2023. The Pikachu Jet TW is part of the Pokemon Air Adventure project that started from the year 2021 with the aim to connect the world’s skies through Pikachu Jets.
