The Odakyu Group will hold a large collaboration event “Evangelion x Hakone 2020 MEET EVANGELION IN HAKONE” with the popular anime “Evangelion”, which set based in Hakone from January 10th to June 30th.
At this event, a stamp that goes around the 3rd New Tokyo City based on the original large-scale wrapping and Hakone supplement map for vehicles and stations for the release of “Shin Evangelion Theatrical Version” scheduled for June 2020. In addition to the rally, various measures will be implemented on the largest scale in the Hakone area, such as the display of the first 2-meter figure, the sale of Eva’s original tour package and event-limited goods.

Based on the theme of “immersing in Evangelion’s view of the world with the great nature of Hakone”, the vehicles, stations, and bus stops of the Odakyu Hakone Group have been converted to Evangelion. The Hakone Tozan Bus is designed to reflect the aircraft, the Odakyu Hakone Express Bus draws an original illustration of this event, and the Tonendai station premises will be designed like a nerf headquarters that will appear in the play.
- Third Tokyo Complementary Stamp Rally
The “Hakone Complement Map” will be restored as a Stamp Rally Mount. If you collect stamps placed in the center of the Hakone area on a map that is distributed with the purchase of the Hakone Free Pass, you will receive a prize of event-limited design.
- Scheduled bus broadcasts by popular characters
Planned for in-car broadcasts by popular characters on one line of the Hakone Tozan bus wrapped in Evangelion specifications.
4). Special display of “First machine” and “Longinus no Go”
In order to make Evangelion the Togendai Station wrapping around the Nerv headquarters, a large figure of about 2 meters was displayed. In addition, a huge monument of “Longinus no Go” that appeared in the play in cooperation with Tokyo Skytree Town® will be on display for a limited time.
5). Original tour package limited to Odakyu Travel, event limited goods sold
During the event period, a tour package for the 3rd New Tokyo City in search of Evangelion will be sold exclusively at Odakyu Travel. There will also be limited event goods available only here.
6). Jointly held with Hakone Kowakien Yunessun
At the all-weather hot spring amusement park “Hakone Kowakien Yunessun”, “Evangelion no Yu” (tentative name) will be held for a limited time, and collaboration menus and original goods will be sold.
