Since Augst, the Pola museum of art and the Hakone open-air museum look forward to getting close with family which results from using the famous character Gachapin and Mukku to be the goodwill ambassador for the two museums. And also let them be the one-day special director.
The two museums will afford an appreciation space that takes advantage of nature and art, enjoying the body in surround nature, close to the art.
From August, they will bring the knowledge, music, and insert of participatory works, to present a family-friendly atmosphere to attract the children and parents.
On August 17, “Gachapin & Mukku”, the two goodwill ambassadors, served as director for one day at the Pola Museum of Art and held a ceremony for the director and a photo session (1st August at the Hakone open-air Museum).
From August, the guide book of the two museums has to be distributed and a special website will be released at the end of August.
The Pola Museum of Art will change the admission fee for junior high school students and younger to be free from August 10 when “Cincopation: Modern Masters of the Century and Contemporary Art Exhibition” opens. Centered on the interactive appreciation party “Kids ☆ Talking Appreciation Party” and the “Summer Holiday Children Week” is being held.
