“Care Bear (TM) Exhibition-throbbing&colorful world” will be held

Matsuya Ginza will hold the first large-scale original exhibition of “Care bear™ Exhibition-throbbing&colorful world” from August 8 to 26, full with cute bears born from drawn as an illustration in greeting cards in the United States.

The “Care bear™” usually lives in a cloud-based country called “Care-a-Lot” (care-a-lot) and watches for children to grow with peace of mind, each bear having a different mission to follow children come to “care” when they forget their important heart. In 1982, these bears were born in the American card company “American Greetings, Inc.” as an illustration of a greeting card. Later in the United States, Europe, Asia and other countries in the world, because of its cute look and color, the symbol mark of (more than 60 types in all) became popular and became a beloved thing from children to adults.

In this exhibition, with the full cooperation of the original rights holder of the United States, approximately 200 precious original illustrations of greeting cards from the birth of Carebear to the present are collected and presented in one hall. There will also hold photo spots that express the world of Carebear™, which is full of color and happiness. In the goods section, the company will also sell exhibition limited goods with original motifs and stuffed toys and stationery of the new bear “Sparkle Heart Bear™” born to commemorate the exhibition.
