Japan Animation announces the new design series “Monsuri Collection” to commemorate the 30th anniversary of “Chibi Maruko-chan” anime broadcasting. The series draws new art that expresses the sense of the season every month and the first one is a southern country feeling with “Maruko”. The develops products using the art will on sale at the same time.
The “Monthly Collection” first art incorporates summer motifs such as sandy beaches, palm trees, and surfboards on the theme of “surf”, and the “Maruko” and “Hanakun” skins are finished in a sunburned wheat coloring. The keychain, acrylic clip, can badge, etc. using the same art will be on sale from June 15 at 11 stores of Kiddyland, Chibi Maruko-chan Land, and ANi ★ CUTE.
As a novelty campaign, if you purchase “Chibi Maruko-chan” products above 1000 yen, including “Monthly Collection” products, at the following stores, you will receive an original postcard using the “Monthly Collection” art on a first-come order.
“Chibi Maruko-chan” will enliven various projects with the title of “Thank you! 30th anniversary of everyone with Chibi Maruko-chan year” from April. The ambassador of “Chibi Maruko-chan” 30th-year is “Momoiro Clover Z”, and in charge of the theme song “Odoru Ponpokorin” and will show on their live show.
