During the period from July 13 to September 23, Nagasaki · HUIS TEN BOSCH held an exhibition “Toshio Suzuki and Ghibli Exhibition” focusing on much works and the words of Studio Ghibli Producer, Toshio Suzuki.
Toshio Suzuki, in order to convey the view of the world of the work to more people, he has conveyed the essence of the work as a powerful “word” by thinking seriously of the works directed by Isao Takahata and Miyazaki Hayao and facing them seriously. This time, at the “Tousio Suzuki and Ghibli Exhibition” held at Huis Ten Bosch, producer Toshio Suzuki, who has worked on numerous Ghibli works, met Isao Takahata and Miyazaki Hayao for 40 years, from “Princess Mononoke” and “Spirited Away”, “The Wind Rises” to “The Tale of Princess Kaguya” will be approached, along with the materials of his own books and Ghibli works.
From the boyhood to the editorial department at Tokuma Shoten, along with articles, posters, and drawings related to Ghibli, he traces “now” from Toshio Suzuki’s “origin”.
In addition, a huge three-dimensional model of 3 meters of the “Yubaba and Zeniba” appearing in “Spirited Away” will be displayed.
