Pokemon and Yokohama City decided to hold “Pikachu Outbreak 2019” during the period from August 6th to 12th.

The Pikachu Outbreak is a program based on the street in Yokohama city stage, which created by Pokemon and Yokohama City, to hold an attraction unique to Yokohama for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, concluding a cooperation agreement aimed at improving urban brands and attracting customers in and outside of Japan for 5 years.
And this year, the sixth year of the program, Pikachus will be jacking the Minato Miria area at night time, which will take advantage of showing the beautiful night view and economy and technology of Minato Mirai.
A total of more than 2,000 Pikachus, one of the largest in the past, will appear in the Minatomirai area at Yokohama’s night. The main implementation plans are as follows.

- Dance Performance with the giant fountain
- Pikachu Super-Outbreak
