Sanrio announced the final result of the Sanrio Character’s Popular Voting project,

The announced was held at the ‘Sanrio Puroland’, the guest are the characters who was gathering here for watching the world’s quickest result presentation together from 14:30pm. After that, at 15 o’clock, the official site announced the overall ranking, the collaboration division (up to the top eight) and also displayed at the Sanrio store as a preliminary report after 15:30pm. For the voting can be doing by 4 method which are voting by web site, Ichigo Newspaper, Sanrio shop and Puroland. The numbers of characters are 100 characters. The total numbers of votes was 4,39,991 Votes!
This time, Cinnamoroll won the first prize at 655,154 votes for celebrating his 15th anniversary debut! And the new character ‘Little Forest Fero (Megoran)’, My Melody enthusiast’s character won the first year at 19th ranking!
In the future, the character ranked in the top 40 places will release for the LINE stamp in early July. In addition, to commemorate the “Cinnamoroll” ranked first in the Sanrio Character Grand Prix 2017, they will offer a discount at Puroland.
The 5th collaboration division this year (voting period: May 10th – June 11th), there are 29 pairs, mainly is Hello Kitty and other companies and other Sanrio characters with the local government characters. The collaborate characters that won the grand prize is “Koeda-chan × Cinnamoroll”. In the future, they had a plan to hold an event at Sanrio Puroland.
