“Dragonball Run” event to be held in Japan this September!

The popular and well-known anime “Dragonball” will have its first run event. From the planning of Dragonball Run Event Committee, there will be two events, one at Makuhari Seaside Park (Tokyo Area) on September 10th, and the other one at Aichi Rinku Beach (Nagoya Area) on September 23rd.

Dragonball was serialized by Shueisha’s “Weekly Shonen Jump” for about 10 years and it has already been 30 years since the beginning of the series. “Dragon ball” was created by Toriyama Akihara, and is loved all over the world. It is a story of Son Goku and his friends carrying out a great adventure with battle with mighty enemies and seeking “Dragon Ball” that can be used to call Soryu that will grant 7 wishes that will come true.

With the long history of anime, movies, video games, and other media, this time “Dragonball” will come in a fun run event for the first time in the world called “Dragonball Run”. “Fun run” is a concept of a run event with “something” else to experience such as music, food, activities, and so on, with the main purpose of “Having fun while running”.

On the actual day, the running course will be 3 km with cool running T-shirts for every runner to wear. There will so many fun activities such as taking photos with Dragonball characters in AR, collecting 7 dragon balls to get premium exclusive items, and so much more activities for both kids and adults. The event this time will be held in Tokyo and Nagoya area, but Dragonball Run Event Committee (consists of Toei Animation, TokyoGets, and Sport One) are also planning the run event in other Japan’s prefectures and other countries.

The participation fees vary from 6,800 yen for adults, 3,800 yen for kids, and 9,800 yen for family price. The ticket sales period will start from July 3rd 2017 for both Tokyo and Nagoya.

Voice actors and singers of the theme songs for “Dragonball” will also join the event, so it will be a great opportunity for fans to enjoy this one day event.
