“LEGOLAND® Japan”, the theme park that can be enjoyed by family members, is now opened since April 1st.
“LEGOLAND® Japan” is the 8th park within 7 different countries, which is the first one in Japan. The park ‘s main targets are families with kids in their 2 to 12 years old. The park consists of seven areas, using 17 million LEGO® blocks and 10,000 LEGO® models and allows you to enjoy the time you can enjoy at more than 40 attractions, shows, theaters, dining facilities, shops, and other imaginations. It is a kid’s theme park that provides the opportunity to immerse yourself in the LEGO® block’s world.
To celebrate the opening, there was the grand opening ceremony. In the ceremony, representative director Toben Jensen entered with “Buddy” which is a character of LEGOLAND® Japan and said “Not just the customer who came today, but the next generation, and the next generation, buddy and I want to make it a theme park that continues to have people with “I LOVE LEGOLAND” shirts on them. After that, Mr. Jensen used the special LEGO® key to launch fireworks, along with dancers performing for the ceremony.
