It first became the talk of the town in Singapore, then in Taiwan, and now it is finally coming to Malaysia!
Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and friends are heading to the first ever SpongeBob Run in Malaysia, to cheer on runners at a fun run and carnival. This one-of-a-kind run is open to the public and will be held at Setia City Park on Sunday, 26th March from 7am till 1pm.
The run comprises two categories: 3km and 5km. The 3km run is open to age of 9 years old and below kids below 9 years old who will need to be accompanied by at least one paying adult, while the 5km run is open to everyone above 10 years old.
Event passes are priced at RM 75 each for kids aged 9 years old and below, and RM 95 each for those aged 10 years old and above. Each runner will be entitled to receive an exclusive SpongeBob Run bib and finisher medal, a SpongeBob SquarePants drawstring bag and a plush pillow for each ticket purchased.
The event offers a themed experience that taps on the current running trend in Malaysia and promotes health, family togetherness and well-being with beloved Nickelodeon characters SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star that everyone loves. The run also aims to build a one-of-a-kind experience that creates hype & talkability in town!
